Born in Pittsburgh, PA, and raised in Covington, GA, Tony was a distinguished graduate of Newton County High School, where he first showed the brilliance, humor, and drive that would define his remarkable life. He went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Rhodes College, where his sharp mind and magnetic personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Following his education, he built an extraordinary career. His work in international business brought him to far corners of the globe, and at every stop along the way, he did what came most naturally to him — he made lifelong friends.
Never one to slow down, he chose early retirement not to rest, but to pour his energy into the things he loved most: family and racquet sports. A fierce and passionate competitor, he was a devoted tennis player and an equally avid pickleball player, always the first on the court and the last to leave. Whether trading volleys or trading stories courtside with the occasional cocktail, he brought the same wit and warmth to every moment.
He was, in every sense of the word, brilliant — not just in intellect, but in spirit. His humor could light up a room, his drive could move mountains, and his heart had room enough for all he met. From Covington to every place his life and loves carried him, he left a piece of himself with each of us fortunate enough to cross his path.
Ultimately, Tony was a devoted son. Caring for his mom, partnering with his father, these are the roles he cherished most in the last several years.
Light a virtual candle in Tony's memory. Each flame joins the others in real time.
